James for many years of managed the Australia and USA Speedway teams, as well as being joint owner of Peterborough Panthers. TRAVEL PLUS TOURS specialise in Worldwide Speedway tours, having over 26 years of experience of operating tours to World Finals, culminating with over 2,000 clients booked to one old style World Final; right through to today's modern Grand Prix series. TRAVEL PLUS TOURS is bonded financially by a CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) bond, plus of course ABTA bonding, and has the backing of the huge Fred Olsen Travel company. TRAVEL PLUS TOURS boasts a truly superb team, headed up by JAMES EASTER who is assisted in a busy office by DENISE TIMMS, who has herself over 25 years of travel experience. Recently we have been joined by the ‘flamboyant’ DAVID ‘The Grief’ GOODCHILD, who doubles up his office expertise with the highly enjoyable tours which he regularly escorts. David has travelled the world escorting diverse groups including all forms of sports tours. TRAVEL PLUS TOURS on the road team also includes some interesting, amusing and highly experienced individuals. They all have a dedicated following from our clients who often select their tour to coincide with the choice of Tour manager. Starting off with the glamour we have CLARE DUNN, who has been with us for some 7 years, initially as a client, but is now one of our most popular travel managers. EILEEN LARGE doubles up with the famous RUSS ‘The Ice Man’ LARGE and they are vital members of our team, with over 20 years of experience to all parts of the world. RUSS is our ICE RACING expert and escorts all our tours to this exciting version of our sport. BRIAN ‘Mr. Snackette’ WHITE has visited well over 30 countries since joining us some 14 years ago, his dry wit, and knowledge has built him a dedicated following. In 2006 we appointed another former client to our team. ALAN CROOKS who is based in Scotland has slipped seamlessly into our team, his calm, measured and friendly personality has already seen a huge positive reaction from our clients.
