The Trip - Tour Code: WLT/MUH

Friday 4 May 2012
We have a series of flights from many local airports straight to the modern and typically efficient Munich Franz Joseph Strauss airport. In fact the airport is close to our base in theattractive Bavarian town of LANDSHUT, where the local club has often been German speedway champions.

Saturday
The town has many traditional highly ornate houses with hand painted murals on the walls. There is nothing better than enjoying a coffee in the Bavarian sunshine followed by a fabulous choice of the delicious local cakes.

Sunday
We are only a short distance from MUHLDORF which is recognised by all riders as the best LONG TRACK racing in Germany. The whole day is one of celebration, so we plan to arrive at the stadium before midday to make the very most of the many attractions, and wonderful catering. Racing begins just after midday with training sessions before the main LONG TRACK GRAND PRIX Round 1 begins. A full programme of races with speeds often passing 140kms on the massive straights before turning into the huge sweeping turns, it all adds up to a wonderful event.

Monday 7 May 2012
Plenty of time to enjoy your morning in this lovely town before we make the very short transfer back to the huge Airport. We have a series of flights back to the UK, so ample time to reach home in comfort on this Bank Holiday Monday.
