GOTHENBURG and its ULLEVI STADIUM is one of the traditional homes of the superb World Speedway Finals of the 1970/1980 era. Considerable improvements continue at this superb venue, and the track now supplies great racing. Thus we have no hesitation in once again recommending this lovely city and its futuresque stadium

Early summer in SWEDEN is delightful with long days, and clear evenings. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit yet another quality destination for the Speedway Grand Prix series. Our flights will leave STANSTED and GLASGOW for GOTHENBURG late morning, enabling us to be in our hotel in good time for an evening in this lovely laid back city. One of the highlights is the amazing LISEBURG theme park right in the heart of Gothenburg.

Have a relaxing morning in GOTHENBURG; indeed we are well placed for everyone to be able to stroll into the city, and enjoy the sights of this second city of Sweden. All roads in the evening lead to ULLEVI, and with the huge resurgence of Speedway in Sweden, the event in this 30,000 capacity stadium is going to be one of the meetings of the year. Obviously with so many Scandinavian riders now at the top support will be very partisan, and with a totally new racing track, this promises to one really special meeting.

A full day followed by a relaxing one. Sweden can be quiet on a Sunday; ideal for those who enjoy a quiet relaxing day, just strolling around the city, then the time is yours for your own enjoyment.
