Friday 27 April 2012
Our direct flights on the 2hr route to Wroclaw depart early morning and we expect to be at our 5 STAR RADISSON BLU HOTEL just after midday. You will have plenty of time to acclimatise yourself and the opportunity to enjoy one of the numerous inexpensive bars and restaurants which are a short stroll from the hotel.

Saturday
GRAND PRIX DAY

We offer an optional 2hr walking City late Saturday Morning. There is plenty of time to enjoy a relaxing lunch and leisurely afternoon before we head off to the Alfred Smoczyk Stadium in Leszno, the stadium is named after the first Polish speedway superstar. He successfully competed on Dutch tracks in the late 1940s, but died in a road accident in October 1950. The track record is held by Krzysztof Kasprzak (58.40 sec on May 3, 2007). The transfer time will be around 90 minutes. The stadium holds 15,000 and is generally sold out. With reasonable traffic we should be back at our hotel before midnight. Poles love to party. As such bars, pubs and clubs frequently stay open until the last guest leaves. Trying to out drink a Pole? Bring some medicine...

Sunday
POLISH LEAGUE SPEEDWAY

Sunday is always the most IMPORTANT racing day in Poland, with a host of meetings across all 3 divisions. Our great base in WROCLAW allows us a huge choice of tracks, and leagues. Obviously we will select an EXTRA LEAGUE event if possible. Notable nearby tracks include WROCLAW itself, CZESTOCHOWA, the hot bed which is ZIELONA GORA and also OPOLE, all within reasonable distance of our base. Start time in April will be around 4.00pm. Please check our web page for an up-dated fixture list.
